Description:

The project will be located at lot 63 of the municipality of Paradiso and will involve the construction of a six-story building intended for an aparthotel —that is, apartments for short- to medium-term rental, equipped with the services of a hotel. The building's purpose was suggested by the strategic location of the lot, as Paradiso is a municipality located in an enviable setting between the shores of the Gulf of Lake Ceresio and Mount San Salvatore, at the southern entrance to the City of Lugano. The municipality has experienced significant development in recent years with prestigious residential buildings, among the most important in Ticino. This boom in construction is undoubtedly also related to the excellent services offered by the municipality, its proximity to the City of Lugano, and the convenient access to transport routes (the Lugano-South motorway junction, Paradiso railway station, Lugano-Agno Airport, Lugano public transport). Paradiso has its roots in the tourist hospitality industry of the early 1900s, which over time gave way to high-quality residential development. Both destinations, which still coexist today, are encouraged by the mild climate, the enchanting Lake Ceresio, the opportunities for excursions to Monte San Salvatore and Monte Arbostora, the services and cultural events of Lugano, and its strategic location on the north-south route (Milan-Zurich). In this sense, the recent inauguration of the Alptransit brings Lugano even closer to Zurich, while Milan can be reached in less than an hour. This area boasts countless advantages and strengths, which have become highly attractive for tourism and holiday residences. It is increasingly appreciated as a location thanks to its varied range of services and cultural offerings (LAC, Estival Jazz, Longlake Festival), the beauty of the city, its lake, and the surrounding mountains, and more generally the quality of life and safety that the Luganese region offers. Paradiso also offers a comprehensive public service network, catering to all ages and needs, including sports (gyms, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness trail, rowing), social and entertainment activities (open-air cinema, folk festivals, concerts, guided excursions), social activities (senior care homes, extensive benefits, counseling and home care services), and cultural and educational activities.

Even in terms of private services, within a few hundred meters of the lot, we find all kinds of amenities, such as banks, restaurants, bars, newsstands, warehouses, grocery stores, bakeries, hairdressers, etc. Transportation options ensure long- and short-range mobility, with excellent connections: urban and regional bus services with stops in the immediate vicinity, the train station, Lake Lugano navigation (with a shuttle boat to the city), the Monte San Salvatore funicular, and a cycle path; but also, and above all, the easily accessible motorway junction and Lugano-Agno Airport. The character of the building therefore stems from this solid foundation, also contemplating what will be the future of Paradiso and the Lugano area, particularly the educational and cultural landscape, with the creation of new university centers such as the one at the station and the one in Viganello, which will add to the excellence already present in the area. The target clients will be professors, musicians, and artists guests of the LAC or other nearby cultural attractions, who will be hosted in a sophisticated and welcoming facility where particular attention will be paid to attention to detail, to make their stay a precious one. The management of the aparthotel will also be forward-looking, which will feature the most modern technologies available. A dedicated website will allow us to both book and define guest preferences. The facility will also be equipped with recently developed, user-friendly home automation, which will allow us to satisfy all guest needs related to living, managing all parameters related to climate and lighting, for example, and to simplify the ownership by automating numerous processes, saving time and money. Both the food and beverage service will be autonomous, using modern vending machines, and the fully automated parking garage on the lower floors of the building will be capable of autonomously managing car parking and responding effectively to guest requests quickly. Based on new mobility trends, the facility is planned to provide an internal car sharing service with electric vehicles, thus guaranteeing guests complete freedom of movement regardless of traffic restrictions. Everything will therefore be designed to transform their stay into an unforgettable experience.
