Mr. Kay Michael Alexander is a lifetime resident of Morgantown, WV who grew up working in his family’s business. He graduated from St. Francis School, West Virginia University and the Realtors’ Institute, in addition to education through the Society of Real Estate Appraiser, Appraisal Institute, John Wesley College, Commercial Investment Real Estate Council, along with continuing education through the WV Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He also has earned the ABR, Green & GRI professional designations.

Licensed in real estate since 1984, his early years in the industry were engaged in residential & commercial real estate appraising prior to going into sales & leasing. As a multimillion dollar producer, he has won several national awards for being in the top 5% of leading real estate professionals in North America. In 2016, Mr. Alexander was also recognized for being in the top 1% nationally.

He serves as the Director of the Commercial Division for Howard Hanna Premier Properties and during the past 10 years he has received 21+ national appointments to leadership positions with the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He Chaired the Commercial Research Advisory Board in 2009 & 2016, was Vice-Chair of the Commercial Research Advisory Board in 2008 & 2015, Vice-Chair of the Realtors Commercial Alliance Committee, 2010 & 2017, Past Chair of the Commercial Research Advisory Board, 2017 Commercial Connections Magazine Advisory Board, as well as serving on the Research Committee and the Commercial Committee for the National Association of Realtors. At the State level, he chaired the commercial & technology committees for the West Virginia Association of Realtors in addition to serving on numerous charity and community organizations and fundraisers. He is currently serving on the 2018 NAR Member Communications Committee & the 2018 Commercial Connection Magazine Advisory Board.
