Seller's Statement regarding DEC NOTE: The DEC still shows that this site is an open case. Shell oil conducted significant clean up from 1996 - 2006. All tests are clean but Shell oil is responsible for for any existing contamination that may be discovered until the building is demolished and the remaining areas under the building can be tested. Present and current owners are indemnified. Shell Oil is and will be liable for any future clean up requirements pertaining to any existing issues.
