The City of Fairview in Multnomah County is located at the eastern end of the Portland Metroplex along Interstate 84, a major east/west freeway that spans between Portland on the West and Echo, Utah on the East. It is approximately 15 miles east of the Portland Central Business District. The current population of 9,783 and an average household income of $62,516.  Approximately 58.3% of Fairview’s residences are owner occupied. The City of Fairview is well located at the east end of the Airport Way industrial and employment center, and is just west of the Troutdale Airport. In the past year, Amazon has leased 855,000 SF at the Troutdale Airport and is operating a Regional Fulfillment Center at the facility. Fairview is in close proximity to employers such as Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Boeing, LSI Logic, Townsend Farms, Owens-Brockway, Nabisco and FedEx. 
The City of Fairview has had very little new Multifamily development in the last decade and as such enjoys very low apartment vacancy and strong rent growth. Fairview also offers easy access to the Columbia Gorge, Mount Hood, and Eastern Oregon, some of the State’s finest recreational amenities.
