The area is quickly growing as the DFW area saw the largest population growth in the US in 2018. Arlington is most known for the major attractions the city has. Arlington is located between downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas, closer to Fort Worth. Although the city has access to both major cities and their attractions, Arlington has plenty to see and do.

Sporting events are a notable attraction for Arlington. The city is home to AT&T Stadium, where many concerts are held and the Dallas Cowboys play their home games. Also, the city is home to the MLB baseball team, the Texas Rangers. The Rangers just wrapped up their final season in the Globe Life Park and are moving to their new stadium, Globe Life Field, starting in 2020. Globe Life Field was built with a retractable roof and is still located in Arlington. The original stadium, Globe Life Park, will still stay open and was recently announced to be the new home of the North Texas Soccer Club, the professional development team for FC Dallas.

Besides sports, the city is also home to Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor. Also, Texas Live is a popular entertainment venue that offers food, beverages, and numerous large screens to catch various sporting events going on. There several restaurants and bars on-site for guests to choose from. There's also a few shops available as well. Additionally, a brewery is being built by the popular Revolver Brewing company that is set to open in 2019. Additional entertainment options are still in progress.
