Description:
Global Organic Farm, Inc. is a 112 acre certified organic fruit, vegetable and fish production facility and it is located conveniently 2.7 miles off interstate 10 on Highway 177 between the cities of Indio and Blythe.
20 greenhouses produce your round fruit and vegetables. A 320 ft.² refrigerated cold storage unit keeps harvested produce fresh before delivery to clients.
The fish operation has 111 concrete tanks and six earthen ponds measuring 1-4 acres in size. the two geothermal wells produce 88° warm water suitable for year-round golden tilapia, catfish and hybrid silver carp production.
A 400 amp three phase 240 V and 600 amp three phase 480 V electrical system provides the farm generous power for future expansion. Two 100 kva diesel generators with electronic transfer switching will automatically shift power in case of power outages to provide continuous operation.
