Fountain Hills has a 2022 estimated population of just over 24,000 residents and is located just east of the city of Scottsdale, cradled by the McDowell Mountains. The centerpiece of Fountain Hills is its impressive 560 foot, tall fountain on the edge of it’s downtown. When built in 1970, it was the world's tallest fountain and held that record for over a decade. Today, the famous fountain is the second tallest in the United States, and fourth tallest in the world. It serves as a focal point for the community and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
