In the past, shopping centers, out parcels and other retail & office opportunities practically leased themselves. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case; Commercial Asset Group has evolved into one of the leading commercial brokerage firms founded with the intent of servicing the specific and particular needs of retail center and office owners only.

Alex Shabani joined Commercial Asset Group “CAG” in November 2016. Prior to that time, Alex had been a sales/ leasing executive at Centers Business Management “CBM” and “Re/Max Commercial” with more than a decade experience. Alex has established himself as a leading leasing specialist representing landlords and tenants throughout the Los Angeles area. He has been named a top twenty leasing agent by CoStar. In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017. Alex has completed over 2,000 lease transactions. Alex’s varied experience in leasing has permitted him to finalize leases with Kaiser Permanente (for a space that was vacant for over 2 years); Chase Bank; See’s Candies; Bright Now Dental (over 3,000 locations); Wells Fargo, Metro PCS; World Gym; and 7- Eleven. His expertise does not stop with the major tenants and he has been able to cultivate relationships with small “mom & pops” and has helped some of them grow their locations from 1 to a total of 40 locations in just 36 months.Before joining “CAG”, Alex gained valuable retail and office leasing experience while working for CBM and Re/Max Commercial. He has used that knowledge to garner listing agreements for a 156,000 square foot center in La Puente; 100,000 square foot center in Pico Rivera, 134,000 square foot retail and office project in Tarzana; 85,000 square foot retail and office project in Sherman Oaks; and numerous smaller properties. The landlords that Alex represents own and manage a combined one billion square foot portfolio of retail centers & office buildings through out Southern California.
