Professional Background
Andres Claure joined Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank in 2009, after 8 years with Wayne Mascia Associates. Mr. Claure specializes in Real Estate Advisory Services and the Sales and Leasing of Office/R&D and Industrial properties. Mr. Claure’s responsibilities include the development and implementation of negotiating strategies, occupancy strategies and solutions, and lease review. He has represented the full gamut of companies and investors ranging from Fortune 100 companies with multiple locations to startup companies looking for their first office.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Claure was with Wayne Mascia Associates/TCN Worldwide since 2001, where he successfully represented a variety of clients in both the acquisition and disposition of real estate in the Silicon Valley, and nationally through TCN Worldwide.
In 2003, Mr. Claure was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Director of Sales, where his responsibilities included communications, recruiting, training, new business development, personal production, and general management.
In conjunction with his responsibilities at WMA, in 2005, Mr. Claure was appointed to the position of Western Regional Vice President for TCN Worldwide and in 2006, Mr. Claure was nominated to the Board of Directors of TCN Worldwide where he capably served until moving to Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank. Through his involvement as a Board member of TCN, Mr. Claure not only gained exposure to the real estate business outside of the Silicon Valley, but also formed mutually beneficial relationships with other brokers and brokerage service providers across the country and internationally.
Professional Affiliations
Mr. Claure currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers, (ASVB), where he was President in 2007.
Education
Mr. Claure holds a degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Insurance.
Personal Information
Mr. Claure resides in Menlo Park with his wife, Christina, and son Alexander. He is active as a coach in AYSO and a volunteer coach at Woodland School.
