Basil Mitchell is Vice President of Brokerage at RESOLUT RE, specializing in shopping center projects with a focus on neighborhood, community, and strip centers of 25,000 square feet or larger within the DFW Metroplex. He has marketed high-profile projects such as The Villages at Allen and Wynnewood Village, each with a Gross Leasable Area (GLA) of over 1 million square feet. Mitchell has represented prominent property owners and developers, including Brixmor Property Group, Retail Plazas, Inc., and Greenway Investments.

Before joining RESOLUT RE, Basil served as Market Director at NAI Robert Lynn's retail division, where he was recognized as the top listing broker for Class A & B shopping centers in East Dallas and surrounding submarkets. His career in real estate began as an intern with Hillwood Development, eventually rising to Market Manager of Retail at AllianceTexas Development, where he managed over 3 million square feet of retail land and space. Basil later transitioned to brokerage with the Weitzman Group as a Project Leasing Associate, representing Cencor Realty and other major third-party clients in Dallas and Tarrant County.

Basil's professional journey started in the NFL, where he played two seasons with the Green Bay Packers as a backup running back and special teams captain. He is a graduate of the Urban Land Institute's Center for Leadership, Class of 2022, and a member of NTCAR and ICSC. Basil holds a degree from Texas Christian University, where he was honored with the Pop Boone Male Student-Athlete of the Year award in 1999.
