Daniel Baird serves as Managing Partner with Sperry Van Ness Los Angeles and is responsible for promoting and executing the Los Angeles region’s mission, vision, and day-to-day operations. Facilitating the company’s expansion throughout Los Angeles County, Dan has helped to build and expand the Sperry Van Ness platform with insightful leadership and a fresh vision backed by more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. During his tenure, Dan has achieved multiple awards, consulted numerous commercial real estate boards, and is frequently recognized by the industry as one of the most successful Southern California commercial real estate brokers achieving over a billion dollars in total sales transaction volume.

A Southern California native, Dan began his professional career with an initial focus on Real Estate Law & Finance. Dan expanded his acumen in the Investment Real Estate world by joining Sperry Van Ness in 1998. In his first 3 years with Sperry Van Ness, Dan was consistently in the top ten, achieving record sales in the metropolitan sub-markets of Los Angeles.

In October of 2005, while surpassing 500 million in career sales, Dan culminated an innovative new vision and launched Bridgepointe Equity Partners. The first of its kind, Bridgepointe held a far more holistic approach to the brokerage industry that encouraged and incentivized principal ownership within the firm, property acquisition, syndication, and asset management. This premise was designed to encourage its advisors to move beyond career brokerage in order to achieve lasting wealth through principal ownership.

After achieving more than a billion dollars in sales volume, Dan launched a joint venture with Sperry Van Ness and Bridgepointe Equity Partners in 2010. At the heart of this venture lay the commitment to leverage the very best of both platforms and continue to carry this unique vision forward on a national level. With proven success Bridgepointe’s innovative principal ownership platform, combined with SVN’s cutting edge commercial real estate brokerage platform, has now become the new Sperry Van Ness Los Angeles.
