David A. DeLise, Director, Commercial Division Berkshire Hathaway Verani Realty
David is currently the Director of the Commercial Division at Berkshire Hathaway Verani Realty. In this senior management position, David is responsible for providing the leadership to the division, as well as to the professional advisors and support personnel within the division. In addition, he provides strategic planning and execution of new business initiatives, agent management and training and recruiting activities.
David has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for more than 25 years, starting his real estate career as a commercial transaction advisor, followed by positions in property management, asset and risk management, and then as an investor and developer for more than a decade. David possesses significant commercial real estate experience working in the private sector as well as positions at a NYSE listed REIT.
As an entrepreneur, David was the founder of multiple New England based commercial real estate companies. He was the founder and President of a real estate investment and development firm where he provided the strategic direction of the company’s growth, as well as creating the operating platform and infrastructure of the firm. During his tenure he led the firm from a regional real estate investment company to a nationally renowned commercial development, investment and management company. David has achieved success raising private equity and sourcing debt opportunities, as well as structuring operating partnerships, and ownership entities.
During his career David has been directly involved in the acquisition, development, redevelopment/ repositioning, leasing and asset management of commercial property in excess of five hundred ($500,000,000.00) million dollars. David has been directly involved in all commercial property sectors, and has specialized in retail, multi-family and industrial assets as well as ground-up development throughout his career.
