I am a Real Estate Broker licensed in the State of California. My primary focus is in the area of industrial sales and leasing, with emphasis on the light industrial "high technology" market place. The Vollman Company, Inc. performs research and development of market data and subsequent trend analyses, for the acquisition of development properties on behalf of major development entities. We also provide consultation in conjunction with the development and execution of marketing programs for major projects as well as site location and analyses on behalf of "user-occupant" industries, leading to the acquisition of fee simple and/or leasehold interests on behalf of "occupant" companies.

This affiliation began when Iliff, Thorn and Company acquired Western Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (WESTCO) in April of 1984.
WESTCO was founded on February 5, 1981 by myself and two partners. We developed WESTCO into the pre-eminent independent commercial real estate brokerage in the Greater Sacramento Metropolitan Statistical Area. WESTCO grew from three partners and one key staff person to eighteen fully qualified commercial, industrial broker/agents and a support staff of seven prior to being acquired by Iliff, Thorn and Company.
In February, 1986 I held the position as the most productive agent in the Sacramento market place and also ranked second company-wide for the calendar year 1985 (seven offices with an excess of 150 brokers).
I was proud to be recognized by Iliff, Thorn and Company as the most productive marketing associate in the Sacramento office for the year of 1984.
I became affiliated with the commercial real estate firm of Ashwill-Burke & Co., in June of 1977, which was an eighteen-office, 250 broker/agent corporation. During the years of 1978, 1979 and 1980, I functioned as an industrial sales/leasing agent and was fortunate to be listed in the Top 12 Income Producers - corporate wide each of those years.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry I spent fourteen years in the United States Army. I enlisted as a Private, E-1, in September 1963. Progressing through the ranks to Sergeant, E-5, I was trained in basic people and management skills, as well as the repair and maintenance of the Field Artillery Automatic Digital Computer, FADAC.
On completion of Officers Candidate School, OCS, at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, I volunteered for the Army Aviation School. Upon receiving my wings in 1967, I was assigned to the First Air Calvary Division, Republic of Vietnam. After various other European, Continental U.S., South American and Southeast Asian assignments, including Field Artillery Career Course, Instructor Pilot Training and the coveted Degree Completion Program, I was assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado where I held two peace time command positions. I stayed in Colorado until separating from the Army as a Captain in May, 1976.
Born in Sacramento, California on September 8, 1943 where I grew up and graduated from the municipal school systems. While attending high school and Sacramento State College, I worked at various jobs on a part and full-time basis until joining the Army in 1963.
