Ejay Hodes possesses a broad experience in commercial real estate during the past 25 years. He recently re-joined CBRE in Panama in 2013 as a real estate consultant and Head of the International Services Team after sailing from New York to South America with his wife and two children in search of property investments. Mr. Hodes previously worked at CBRE as a Director of International Corporate Services from 1996 through 2000 where he met Ramon Roux, the head of CBRE Panama. He began his career at CB Richard Ellis (formerly Insignia/ESG) in New York City in 1989 working as a project analyst for three years in the consulting department before moving to Cushman & Wakefield for three years as a salesperson. He has experience in facilities management and green building construction as a Business Development Director at Johnson Controls from 2001 to 2003. He also has experience in research and portfolio management as an Investments Manager at MetLife real estate investments from 2004 through 2009 where his unit was responsible for over $8 Billion of asset sales through CBRE.

Mr. Hodes specializes in the sales and leasing of commercial office and industrial property transactions with the International Services Team. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Valuation from New York University as well as an MBA from Columbia University in the City of New York. As an American from New York City, Mr. Hodes is a native English speaker who is familiar with both Spanish and French.
