Elizabeth Belenchia is a veteran designated international real estate specialist (SIOR, CCIM, RICS) with 45 years-experience, 40 in the practice of Foreign Direct Investment into the Southeastern US with a focus on South Carolina. She has achieved a world record of personally locating companies from 27 countries. She is considered a pioneer in Brownfields and leader in Sustainability. She has been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2008 and was selected to the prestigious International Standards Organization (ISO 26000) Corporate Social Responsibility, Working Group as an Industry Expert. She was a delegate at RIO+20 to the Global Compact Corporate Sustainability Forum. She is a published, often quoted in the media, mentor and speaker who shares knowledge and passion. She has served FIABCI as a UN Representative to ECOSOC for 12 years. She holds the FIABCI Medal of Honor for outstanding contributions. She leads the annual Eco Film Festival for the FIABCI World Congress, once featuring the Pacolet River in South Carolina. A mentor to 160 interns domestic and international, graduate of the Strategic Coach Entrepreneur Program, and holding real estate’s prestigious CCIM, SIOR and RICS designations, Elizabeth is a member of the select team of UN Global Compact/RICS Steering Group on Global Metrics for Real Estate and serves on the UN Economic Commission for Europe Real Estate Market Advisory Group in Geneva, Switzerland.
