Herschel Halesworth is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in RM Friedland’s office leasing division. As a resident of Sleepy Hollow, New York, Halesworth developed an interest in real estate after witnessing the entire conversion life cycle of the former Tarrytown GM assembly plant to what is now the mega mixed-use development Edge on Hudson.

Herschel began his real estate career as a research intern at RMF in the summer of 2021. As an intern, Halesworth was tasked with covering the Bronx territory and performing boots-on-the-ground canvassing to assess how the NYS Covid Eviction Moratorium was set to affect the owners and tenants of brick-and-mortar retail stores. Halesworth was also tasked with assisting the RMF research team with updating and auditing the Company’s research database. A highly motivated team player, Halesworth looks to aid the office team with lead generation, market research and analysis, property canvassing and providing a superior commercial real estate services experience for our clients.

Halesworth is entering into the RMF office division after his graduation from the College of the Holy Cross. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Government in May 2022. While at the College, Herschel was a four-year member of the men’s lacrosse team and earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2019. Herschel also participated as a mentor “big brother” alongside the non-profit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America throughout his time there.

Prior to enrolling at Holy Cross, Halesworth attended the Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle and was a four-year varsity athlete. Outside of the office he enjoys watching sports, hanging out with friends, eating good food, and going to the beach
