James Meehan is an Associate in the Investment Sales Division of Ariel Property Advisors, responsible for executing the company’s exclusive listings and facilitating business development initiatives throughout New York City. Mr. Meehan has experience evaluating and marketing a variety of property types including multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, and development assets.

Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Mr. Meehan was an equities trader at Trillium Trading where he managed a proprietary trading account and employed individually developed, effective trading strategies. His successful techniques were based on in-depth market research and a deep understanding of market principles and psychology. Previously, he had an internship at The Richman Group Development Corporation.

Mr. Meehan received his B.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business. While attending, Mr. Meehan headed the philanthropic efforts of the Alpha Pi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, supporting such organizations as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Alzheimer’s Association.
