Jason was born and raised in Los Angeles, California before he moved to San Diego to attend college. He continued to live in San Diego well past college and began a career in mortgage finance. Jason became a DRE Certified Real Estate agent in 2004 and began his transition in the real estate industry. San Diego was in the midst of the biggest housing boom on record at the time. The market changed dramatically in 2007 as well all know and Jason quickly shifted his focus to the distressed sale market, helping over 200 homeowners avoid foreclosure by successfully negotiating short sales with dozens of banking and lending institutions.

Jason decided to take a one year sabbatical to Costa Rica in 2013, shortly after visiting his sister who had relocated here the year prior. The diverse, but small town atmosphere along with beautiful beaches and active lifestyle were the main draws that brought Jason to Tamarindo. Upon arriving, he assisted his sister and partner in the day to day operations of their bed n breakfast here in town. Before the year was up, Jason knew this would be the place he would call home and began looking for the best place to begin his real estate career in Costa Rica. The timing could not have been better since the market in Tamarindo has experienced substantial growth each of the last four years!
