I am the owner, principal broker, and certified business valuation analyst of VR Business Brokers of St. Louis. VR stands for Valued Representation. My promise to you is to provide a selling or buying experience based on professionalism, values, and results. I have been on both sides of these transactions myself. I was often frustrated with the lack of respect, the lack of communication, and the lack of professionalism I experienced at the corporate level or at the private level when conducting business transactions. I knew there had to be a better way, but more importantly, I knew other people were going through the same challenges and I felt as though I could make a difference.

I have over 30 years in the military and I am currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves. I have over 15 years corporate experience as a certified Program Manager (PMP) where I led and managed aerospace and defense programs supporting the Department of Defense. I am a Missouri licensed commercial real estate broker and I am a Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) with the International Society of Business Appraisers (ISBA). I am also devoted to continuing my professional business valuation education and undergoing Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) credentialing with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).

I have seen every level of business ownership, both professionally and personally. I have experience which ranges from bootstrap start-ups to multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions. I have bought and sold my own franchises and helped many others do the same. I understand the process, the sensitivity, and confidentiality which occurs on all sides of the transaction, but most importantly, I leverage my leadership experience and my management skills to ensure things get done and that we achieve results.
