As a long time resident of Corpus Christi, Jim Villaume has been extensively involved in many facets of the real estate business from teaching and management to brokerage and appraisal of commercial and industrial properties. Jim has earned the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation for commercial and investment property brokerage and the MAI (Member Appraisal Institute) designation for commercial and industrial property appraisal. Prior to real estate brokerage, Jim developed and managed a commercial appraisal and environmental department for a billion dollar banking institution in Texas. Jim was past owner of Steve Roberts Realty. Currently Jim is Broker of Corpus Christi Commercial Inc. specializing in industrial and commercial property brokerage.

Jim graduated with a BA Cum Laude from Augustana College and a MA Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. He was the 2002 President of the 850-member Corpus Christi Association of Realtors. In 2006, Jim became the broker/owner of Steve Roberts Realty. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Corpus Christi Association of Realtors, CCIM Institute and Appraisal Institute. His outside interests include active membership in First United Methodist Church, the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, sailing Corpus Christi Bay and ranching.
