John garners his commitment to customer satisfaction through prior work experiences. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, he was a 4th generation hardwood floor business employee for over two decades. John took that opportunity to familiarize himself with techniques in communication, money handling, timeliness, and delivering quality service. The unique opportunity afforded him the chance to build a loyal customer base and thusly benefit his community. From there, John saw success directing a distribution company, which he would later sell in 2011. The sale was not John’s first journey into the Real Estate market, however. John had been buying Real Estate for some time prior to the sale, and began to manage investment properties. To date, he manages seventy locations, and has sold multiple sites as well. From these opportunities, John has a great understanding of what is expected of effective contracts and how important it is to listen and work for the customers’ needs by utilizing his own skills and traits, in addition to the tools of the reputable Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand.
John loves his community as much as his family, and feels they both provide him perspective and compassion. Currently living in Odessa with his beautiful wife, of 13 years, Rebecca, and their two children; John Thomas and Cally, John says he is blessed to have their love and support. In the community, John finds passion in being a sitting board member of the Advocates of Love (an orphanage located in the Dominican Republic). This highly educational experience has greatly humbled him and has helped to build his character as an agent. Combined, these day-to-day passions make clear John’s genuine care for his customers. John is a willing advisor, who does not shy away from doing his homework, and is committed to ensuring his customers’ business can continue to thrive.
