Kurt Sauer serves as the Minneapolis Market Leader for Matthews™, spearheading the recruitment efforts in the Minneapolis market while simultaneous overseeing the company’s growth and development. As the company expands its footprint, Kurt will oversee and progress efforts to support management structure. His natural leadership ability and comprehensive knowledge of the market make him an asset in recruiting and training top talent in the area, as well as overseeing day-to-day responsibilities in the office.

Prior to joining Matthews™, Kurt established his career as a top Midwest broker, working for Cushman and Wakefield, and most recently, Kris Lindahl Real Estate. His expertise in the Twin Cities have helped bolster his career throughout the Midwest. In addition to a career as a broker, Kurt also had a successful career in the NHL, having played for eight seasons with the Anaheim Ducks, Colorado Avalanche and Phoenix Coyotes. His NHL career highlights include setting a new record for games played in a rookie season with the Ducks (80) as well as playing over 400 total games in the NHL.
