As a hospitality professional, her expertise as former Owner, Operator, Operator, and Developer to the relationship that she has with owners and investors of hotel properties.
A proven professional, Hankamer began her career in the marketing department of Holiday Inns Worldwide Headquarters in Memphis, TN. She became a Principal in a Houston-based hotel owning and operating company for over 11 years where she also formed its sister brokerage firm, Hankamer & Associates Hotel Brokers. Following she had a successful 12 years with one of the top 3 nationally recognized hotel brokerage firms which led her to form her own real estate & consulting firm which specialized in boutique, historic and repositioned hotel properties. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Ms. Hankamer had been involved in over $300M in hotel transactions.
