Martin Turner joined Retail Solutions in 2010. By holding several key management and business development positions, along with being a top-tier producer, he has played an integral role in the firm’s rapid growth. Most recently, Martin has been the Market Leader of the firm’s Houston office, where the local brokerage operations have grown by roughly 900% in under 3 years of his leadership. The office was recognized among Houston’s largest commercial real estate firms for its 2015 production, and in 2016, the office is on pace to triple its year over year production volume.

Turner’s brokerage experience includes a long list of representing national-brand, retail & restaurant chains, in addition to representing many prominent landlords and developers. He has also been a top-performing investment sales broker, representing buyers and sellers of retail investment properties ranging from single-tenant, net-leased properties, to multi-anchored shopping centers. Martin’s deal track record has earned him the distinction of a retail “Heavy Hitter” (Business Journal Awards).

Prior to joining Retail Solutions, Turner was a Leasing Executive with Weingarten Realty Investors, one of the nation’s largest, publicly-traded, retail REITs. In that role, he handled a 2 million square foot portfolio of shopping centers, located across Texas and Louisiana. He has also previously spent time in New York City, where he worked representing prominent, national retailers in their nationwide mall and outlet leasing strategy, and in San Francisco, where he worked in real estate finance.

Martin has an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Rice University, and his undergraduate Economics degree from University of California at Davis, where he was a member of the school’s NCAA men’s tennis team. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
