Bio

Born and raised in Argentina, Mauricio M. Jalil moved to Miami by himself in 1994 and never left. What began as a personal leap of faith became a lifelong commitment to one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the world.

Mauricio earned his real estate license in 2001 and was named “Rookie of the Year” in his first year, followed by Top Producer in 2002 while working as a sales associate with Century 21. Over the years, he went on to found several real estate companies, always focused on investment, service, and long-term client relationships.

In 2007, he founded MJ Estates, Inc., a full-service real estate company that has established itself as a premier firm in the Miami-Dade market. Today, Mauricio serves as the principal broker of two respected real estate companies:

Under Mauricio’s leadership, MJ Estates specializes in a diverse portfolio of properties—from luxury residences and high-end condos to multifamily buildings and income-producing assets tailored for both short-term and long-term rentals. He has extensive hands-on experience with Section 8 and other government-subsidized rental programs, managing voucher tenants, inspections, rent adjustments, and compliance so that landlords enjoy stable, predictable income over time.

With a deep understanding of neighborhood trends, zoning, and investment cycles, Mauricio has guided clients through multiple market cycles, always focusing on long-term value, cash flow, and strategic growth.

Mauricio and his team provide end-to-end services, including property valuation, market analysis, strategic marketing, negotiation, property management, financing guidance, and company setup for foreign investors. As a bilingual, internationally minded broker with strong ties to Latin America, he has positioned his companies as a bridge between global capital and Miami’s most promising opportunities.
