SHORT BIO:

Mirtes Happy has been a licensed real estate professional for over 14 years and joined Keller Williams Commercial as a Commercial Director in 2014. She started her real estate career in her native Brazil in 1994 and after attending an English program at the National Graduate University in Arlington, VA, she accepted a job opportunity with Kettler Management in Vienna, VA in 1999 where she had the opportunity to work with multi-family management.

In 2001 she obtained her sales person license in the state of Virginia and is currently licensed as a broker in VA and DC. She expects to have an active broker license in MD by mid-march of 2015.

In 2001 Happy joined Long & Foster in Vienna, VA where she was a member of their commercial division, first as a sales assistant and later as a commercial agent. During her nearly five years with Long & Foster Commercial, Happy was involved with all aspects of sales and leasing of commercial real estate.

Happy became a Broker in 2005 and served as the Principal and Managing Broker for a couple of recognized firms such as RE/MAX and REDFIN and Keller Williams Metro Center in Tysons Corner, VA.

She attended The Sociedade Brasileira de Belas Artes in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she obtained a certificate of Fine Arts in 1995. After obtaining a real estate brokerage certificate from Northern Virginia Community College in 2005, she recently decided to pursue a joint BA/MBA program in real estate from Marylhurst University.

Happy specializes in investment sales, particularly Multi-Family, Student Housing & Retail.

She holds the distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) certification and is an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
