Nathan Whalen represents Marcus & Millichap in the exclusive sale of investment single-tenant net-leased and multi-tenant retail properties throughout the United States.  Since joining Marcus & Millichap in June of 2005, Nathan has been involved in hundreds of transactions totaling over half a billion dollars in sales.  Nathan has been consistently promoted throughout his career, with his most recent promotion being inducted as First Vice President Investment in July 2016.  Nathan has risen to the level of Senior Director of both the National Retail Group and Net Leased Properties Group.  He is a member of the International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has donated his time to many philanthropic organizations including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Riley Children's Hospital, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Susan G. Komen and Gleaners Food Bank.  Nathan is a proud graduate of Indiana University.  He resides in Carmel, IN with his wife, Kelly, and their four children Mckayla, Lincoln, Declan, and Reagan.  In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending sporting events, traveling, working out, and playing golf.
