Bio

Just a little bit about me. I chose Real Estate as my profession because I love to deal with people face to face and it is never dull. I earned a B. S. Business degree from St. Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, Indiana and started in Real Estate in 1974. Additionally, my wife and I owned and operated the “Red Fox Roadhouse Restaurant” in Woodstock from 1975 – 1980 and I then worked with Inland Corporation in their Property Management Division.
The enjoyment I get in Real Estate comes from working with everyone from the first time buyer to the investor. When I am asked what I will be doing in five years, I hope to still be involved in Real Estate, but at a slower pace and spending more time with my grandkids.
My enthusiasm for golf is followed by my enjoyment for traveling. We love seeing America! My favorite vacation for my wife Barb and I was a two week trip to Hawaii to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
My wife and I have two great daughters, Sara and Elizabeth who are married to two great guys and have blessed us with seven grandchildren, Doty, Ellie, Lexi, Maddie, Henry and Peter. My grandkids are my true serendipities, plus it gives me a chance to cultivate some more Green Bay Packer fans.
Being a lifetime resident of McHenry County, my favorite season is fall with its great colors. I enjoy being involved in our church in different capacities and love Woodstock for its location near Chicago and Milwaukee and for its small town amenities.
My business philosophy is to be my client’s Real Estate Consultant For Life”. I do this by treating all of my clients as friends and in the way I would like to be treated. That philosophy has worked for me since 95% of my business comes from my long time clients and from the referrals those clients (friends) continue to introduce me to. Please feel free to call me, I am always looking to meet a new friend.
