First licensed as a Salesman in Arizona in 1972, then qualified educationally as a broker in 1973 & obtained an Arizona Broker License December 12, 1975. Second generation in the real estate business in Arizona,
NAR, AAR, SEVRAR(MCT). Awarded REALTOR® Emeritus 2015, OMEGA TAU RHO National Association of REALTOR, Medal of Service, 1978. Early on Mr. Wood was involved nationally with NAR, REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute (RESSI), Certified
Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), AAR and MCT (now SEVRAR). Positions held from Director of each to National Committee Chairman, and served several years on the NAR Long Range Planning Committee. As an instructor Mr. Wood first instructed for the Arizona Department of Real Estate starting in 1973 at the inception of continuing education for Arizona Agents, then at Mesa Community College (MCC) {Real Estate Classes for active agents, Guest Instructor in the Maricopa Community College District
(MCCCD), including state wide broadcasts over telecom systems}. As well as serving as a National Instructor for RLI, RESI, and being a guest speaker and presenter for numerous NAR, AAR, RLI, RESSI, CCIM national events & chapters across the country as well as Local REALTOR® Associations state wide in Arizona and can instruct on most Real Estate topics. Mr. Wood has been a member and has served for multiple years on Grievance & Professional Standards Committee for SEVRAR (Chairman {both} & Panel
Chairman for PS), and CCIM Nationally Transaction types have ranged from land brokerage, residential property, self-storage, to unsubordinated ground leases to commercial industrial sales & leases and consulting related to Real Estate maters, 1031 Exchanges, trust, corporate and estate trust related issues & structure as well as property management maters of all kinds.
