In 1982, Ron moved to Steamboat Springs from Iowa City, Iowa to attend Colorado Mountain College. Since then he has worked in resort management, retail, storage business and real estate development and has assisted in many successful investment opportunities in and around the US. Land, condos, commercial and residential spec homes are just a few to mention. Being a local and investing where you live does say something about his knowledge and familiarity with the Steamboat Springs Market.

Investment knowledge and advising clients in all types of real estate ventures is what he is here for.

Ron enjoys many outdoor activities including snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, and elk and bird hunting in the beautiful mountains of Northwest Colorado to the cornfields of Nebraska and Iowa. He can also be found fly-fishing the Yampa or surfing on his boat at Steamboat Lake.
Vacations from the area are usually to the desserts of Moab for ATV/dirt biking, scuba diving in the waters of the Caribbean or pheasant hunting in Nebraska or the Dakota’s.

Ron is very proud of his two children. Payton, just beginning her professional life, is following her love and passion for horses. She is currently a trainer and groomer for a successful equestrian team that works with the upper scale of the horse world. His son Landon, was just nominated to the US Ski Team (moguls). Landon is ranked in the top 50 skiers in the world and is getting ready for the 21/22 season.

Gus, Ron’s 7-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer, is always by Ron’s side and is always ready for the next bird hunt.
