Bio

Stephen Harper entered the real estate industry in 1999. He very quickly gravitated to the commercial side of the business and has worked as a salesperson, broker and paid consultant throughout North America as well as limited experience in Mexico and Canada ever since. Guided by the philosophy that people do business with people that they know, like and trust Mr. Harper expanded his network by serving two years as a state level director for both the California Commercial Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors, Hosted the Straight Talk Real Estate Hour on Sacramento’s Wall Street Business Network (Drive time M-F), was the regular commercial expert on Sacramento’s long running Real Estate Report with Brent Gove and founded Straight Talk Real Estate Academy, an online school devoted to instructing professionals into the practice of commercial real estate. Mr. Harper has his Brokers License in California and Broker Associate License in Oklahoma.

As a seasoned Broker and consultant, Mr. Harper provides clients with high-level consultation and proactive advice on how to succeed and manage the ever-present risk in the various realms in which he practices.

In the past two decades Mr. Harper has brokered, consulted and transacted on real estate projects estimated at over 2 billion dollars in the areas of acquisition, disposition, development & redevelopment projects, property/project analysis, forecasting and financing sources and strategies.

As a host, instructor and speaker, Mr. Harper presents on topics such as Real Estate Investment, Wealth Building and Preservation Strategies, IRS Codes as well as a variety of Real Estate related topics. As a trainer, coach and instructor he has had the privilege (to date) of aiding in the launching of the careers of many real estate professionals.

Educational Background

Mr. Harper earned his Bachelor of Science Degree (Area of Focus: Business/Real Estate) in 2001. He earned his real estate salesperson license in 1999 and his real estate brokers license in 2001. Mr. Harper continues his education regularly through a variety of classes, seminars and training which generally focus on corporate structure & strategies, tax law & strategies as well as many other real estate related topics.
