Bio

Since 1981, I have been the principal broker for Corey J. Schneider Realtors in Berryville, Arkansas and Passaic New Jersey. My primary focus is on investment properties, land and consulting. I'm currently licensed in five states (AR, NJ, NY, PA and TX) as a real estate broker. I’ve earned a BBA in Real Estate from Western States University, a certificate in Petroleum Land Management from Oklahoma City University's Meinders School of Business, a certificate in Small Business Management from North Arkansas College and the Zoning Official certificate from Rutgers University -- Center for Government Services. In addition, I have acquired the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the CCIM Institute, the Accredited Land Consultant designation from the Realtors Land Institute, Graduate Realtors Institute from the NJ Association of Realtors and the Certified Real Estate Team Specialist Certification from the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), which is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS.
My real estate practice has involved not only real estate investments, but also development properties and real estate consulting. Recent transactions have included the assemblage of two entire city blocks for a new Home Depot (3rd highest grossing store in their chain), to an Island in the middle of the Delaware River. I have extensive experience in researching real estate matters and have personally acquired property by adverse possession and have cleared the title of an unknown owner parcel.

I have studied the intricacies of commercial, investment and land transactions. This vast knowledge and experience can translate into more informed real estate decisions for my buyers and sellers. For instance, compared to buying property with a building on it, purchasing a parcel of land might seem like a simple transaction. But buyers must weigh many complex issues, such as zoning, growth patterns, employment base, soil conditions to name a few. When looking at commercial investment real estate, projected yield, income, expense ratios and the impact of a 1031 Tax Exchange, all might come into play. So you can see, all these things can present both opportunities and complications to any commercial or land purchase.
